This will be an ecstatic, embodied experience; not an "art class".
Be willing to amaze yourself with your own creative potential!

What will this shared experience look like?
We'll launch our journey with our first in-person meeting [Sun January 25th, 11am – 4pm] at Art and Soul Studio.
We will move, chant, engage in active imagination/ meditation, laughing meditation, Sufi, Qigong, Kaballah and yoga sound healing practices, participate in co created ritual, and be visually inspired!
We will share in an intimate container; verbally and visually and for those who choose, through writing, song &/or movement. We will giggle, jiggle, cry and sigh... oohh and ahh!
At our first meeting, we will introduce (or review) the Mandala process, and seed our personal intentions for the course. And you'll receive your first set of practices for Embodying and Illuminating the Chakras in our feet. During the series we will move through Chakras 1-8. We close the final session with ritual and reflection.
Each class will be an energizing, interactive process.
Each of the two-week periods will focus intently on our individual investigation, integration, and artistic expression of one of our chakras.
(Rudolph Steiner, esoteric teacher and the founder of Waldorf Education, said that real learning requires integrating head, heart and hands!) There will be at least 6 mandalas drawn during the first session -- one for each of chakras 1-4 and one for Releasing in a fire ritual. There will also be handouts with inspirational exercises, quotes, meditations and music to inspire you in between sessions.
Between gatherings, we'll individually be engaged in instructed self-observation, journaling, embodied practices, meditation and visualizations.
Then we'll allow our discoveries to find creative expression in our Mandala drawings. New revelations will also emerge through the drawing process.
What will I need to participate?
A light heart and desire to deepen.
No previous experience as an artist.
